Rossall Pupils Raise £10,000 for Brian House Children’s Hospice
Rossall pupils and community members visited Brian House Children’s Hospice, presenting funds raised from Christmas activities, choir performances, and individual efforts. Together, they contributed around £10,000 to support the hospice’s vital work with families in need.
Rossall Volleyball Teams Secure Four Wins Against Westholme
Rossall School enjoyed a highly successful weekend of volleyball, with the U12, U13, U14, and U15 A teams all recording victories against Westholme. Winning all four fixtures, the teams demonstrated skill, teamwork, and determination across every age group.

Year 9 STEM Visit to the University of Liverpool
On Wednesday 7 January, a group of Year 9 scientists travelled to the University of Liverpool for an exciting and inspiring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) day. The visit provided pupils with a valuable opportunity to experience university life first hand, working in excellent facilities and taking part in a wide range of hands-on activities that brought STEM subjects to life.

The Scholars Theatre Society’s performance of Cinderella offered a fresh and inspiring take on the classic tale, made all the more impressive by the fact that the entire production was student-generated from concept to execution.
A Festive Christmas Celebrations at Rossall School
Upper School students and younger year groups came together to celebrate the festive season with Christmas dinners, pizza parties, games, music, and plenty of cheer. From a beautifully decorated dining hall to lively celebrations filled with laughter and dancing, it was a joyful way to mark the end of a busy term.

The TEDx Conference 2025 showcased students delivering powerful, fully memorised talks based on their own ideas and personal experiences. Despite busy schedules filled with exams and applications, each speaker demonstrated courage, growth, and exceptional public speaking skills. The event highlighted the importance of communication, resilience, and community, leaving staff and students deeply proud and inspired by the confidence and honesty shown on stage.
