With an impressive history dating back to 1844, Rossall School is a leading, independent, co-educational, boarding and day school, based in Fleetwood, Lancashire in England. The school combines a traditional British education with fresh, modern approaches to learning, which aim to help the growth and development of all our pupils.
A truly multicultural school, Rossall attracts children from all over the world. This allows national and international pupils of all types to live and learn together and bring out the best in each other.
Our impressive curriculum, highly skilled teachers and the classes and activities they teach, also give pupils all the skills, abilities, passion and encouragement they need to become the best they can be. All this helps them to grow into extraordinary, well-rounded, independent, strong and confident members of society.
Our amazing Alumni have gone on to accomplish incredible things, from becoming Emmy-award nominated TV producers, to founders of leading IT solution providers. Our impressive school reports also speak for themselves. A recent Independent Schools Inspectorate reported that “Pupils of all ages are self-confident, self-reflective and self-disciplined,” the inspectors said. Pupils were praised as “inquisitive, curious and resourceful and adopt a try and try again attitude.” The report also observes that senior school students “valued the many opportunities provided by the school to develop their character and self-esteem.”
From the moment they set foot on our campus, to the time they leave, pupils are in the most capable of hands – teaching, shaping, upskilling and guiding, providing the best possible start in life.
