Family life doesn’t follow a single pattern and neither should boarding. At Rossall, our flexible boarding options are designed to support busy households, changing schedules and growing independence, while giving pupils the care, structure and opportunities of boarding life.
Whether your child boards regularly or just occasionally, flexi boarding allows them to enjoy the very best of Rossall while still spending time at home.
What is flexi boarding?
Flexi boarding enables day pupils to stay in our boarding houses for two, three or four nights per week, either on a regular pattern or as part of a broader weekly or termly arrangement. It offers a gentle introduction to boarding, or a practical solution for families who need flexibility from week to week.
In addition, ad hoc boarding is available for flexi boarders, weekly boarders and day pupils alike, ideal for early starts, school trips, busy work schedules or simply when plans change.
Ad hoc boarding is charged per night and can be arranged as the term progresses, subject to availability.
