Jack Competes in North West Schools Biathlon National Qualifier

On 28 December, Jack H represented Rossall School at the North West Schools Biathlon National Qualifier, held at Salt Ayre.

Jack produced a very positive performance, achieving a total score of 2,040 points. This places him in a strong position as the qualification process continues and keeps him well in contention for selection to the British Schools Biathlon National Championships, which will take place in Bath in March.

Jack was delighted with his performance on the day and remains highly motivated to continue developing his combined swimming and running through Pentathlon GB events. Representing Rossall once again meant a great deal to him, and he greatly values the support and encouragement he receives from the school.

Alongside his success in the biathlon, Jack has also qualified for six events at the 2026 Lancashire County Swimming Championships, which will take place at the end of January. This marks a significant step forward from last year, when he competed in two events.
