Senior School Vacancies
Rossall is a wonderfully enriching Senior School environment. Each phase is carefully structured to nurture independence, social interaction and a healthy and active approach to learning.
A Sixth Form education at Rossall is designed to stimulate and challenge in equal measure – we want our sixth formers to be intellectually curious, to be able to articulate and defend their opinions. We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology for a one-year maternity cover contract.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for an ECT or trainee teacher to join a highly supportive and hugely successful department, or an experienced teacher looking to have the opportunity to teach across different curricula including A Levels and the International Baccalaureate.
The Psychology department comprises the Head of Department and one other department member. The department is housed in modern well-resourced classrooms within the Science block. This is a busy department which plays a significant role in the intellectual and cultural life of the School. Learning within the classroom is supplemented with seminars, workshops, study trips and visiting guest speakers.

The Rossall Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep schools are close to our Senior School and are part of the wonderful, historical campus overlooking the coastline.

Rossall Summer School is an intensive language programme combined with general activities, specialised skills, and cultural experiences.
The Summer School is designed to appeal to children aged 11-17 from all over the world, running throughout the 8 weeks of the Rossall School summer holidays. We encourage a minimum two-week stay for all pupils.
