Munich Dinner Brings Old Rossallians Together to Start 2026
“We were delighted to welcome more than 30 Old Rossallians to the Munich Dinner on Friday, 9 January 2026. This event marked the first Rossallian Club gathering of the year and provided an excellent start to 2026, with a strong turnout that clearly reflected the continued enthusiasm and engagement of the Rossall community in Germany.
A number of those in attendance are now celebrating more than 25 years since graduating, making it particularly rewarding to see how the German Old Rossallian community continues not only to endure but to grow year after year. The evening brought together Old Rossallians from a wide range of generations, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. Conversations flowed easily between alumni of different eras, with reflections shared on time at Rossall, how the school has evolved over the years, and which traditions and values have remained constant.
The evening itself was centred around a relaxed three-course dinner accompanied by German beer. For many, the event did not end with the final course. A large group continued the celebrations late into the evening at a nearby Irish pub, extending discussions, reconnecting with old friends, and forming new connections.
Having Old Rossallians present at different stages of their personal and professional lives created a particularly valuable opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas across industries and disciplines. Those attending represented a broad range of professional backgrounds, including medicine, consulting, marketing, insurance, finance, renewable energy, and beyond. These conversations highlighted the breadth of paths taken since leaving Rossall and demonstrated the strength of the shared foundation provided by the school.
It is always a genuine pleasure, and a source of inspiration, to see what Old Rossallians have gone on to achieve. Whether building successful businesses, pursuing demanding professional careers, or travelling and living extensively abroad, the stories shared throughout the evening were both impressive and motivating. Events such as this underline the value of maintaining strong alumni connections and fostering opportunities for exchange across generations.
We very much look forward to the German Dinner in 2027, with more information to follow soon, and hope to welcome as many of you as possible to future Rossallian Club events throughout the year.”
