Farrell Society Hosts Lively Pride-Themed Session

The Farrell Society recently met for a lively and thought-provoking Pride-themed session, exploring ideas around Pride and LGBTQ+ representation through engaging activities and discussion.

Students took part in a series of interactive games, including “green flag, beige flag, red flag”, where they were challenged to promote different literary characters while carefully avoiding references to their negative traits. The activity encouraged creative thinking and sparked excellent discussion, alongside friendly competition. Winners from each group were selected by student vote, leading to a final debate showdown to determine the strongest arguments.

The session combined both enjoyment and reflection, with rainbow-themed refreshments kindly provided by Mr McNab, while maintaining a focus on meaningful conversations around LGBTQ+ themes as part of the society’s fifth Pride Farrell meeting.

A special thank you goes to Sofia F for organising and hosting a fantastic event, which brought together energy, creativity, and thoughtful engagement from all involved.
