Range Day

This week saw an exciting milestone for many of our cadets as they experienced live shooting on the outdoor Electronic Target Range (ETR) for the very first time. Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, cadets had the opportunity to apply their marksmanship skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The results were impressive: 7 cadets achieved the coveted Marksman Badge, a testament to their precision and consistency, while 15 others earned their Trained Shot Badge, reflecting solid accuracy and control.

In addition to live firing, cadets took part in a variety of background activities that kept the energy high throughout the day. These included laser clay pigeon shooting, which provided a safe and fun introduction to shotgun-style target sports, as well as archery and the fast-paced, team-based challenge of archery tag. These activities offered a great balance of competition and camaraderie, helping cadets develop their focus, coordination, and teamwork.

It was a fantastic day of skill-building and new experiences, and one that will be remembered by all who took part.
