National golf championships

We are delighted to share the fantastic news that our golfers have enjoyed an outstanding few days at the National Golf Championships. With three major titles available, the National Girls’ Title, the National Boys’ Title, and the Overall National Team Title, our players rose to the occasion in remarkable fashion.

Molly C. and Lila B. delivered exceptional performances, finishing tied for first place and being crowned Joint National Girls’ Champions.

Josh G. also excelled, finishing tied for first alongside a competitor from Loretto School to become Joint National Boys’ Champion.

In the team competition, our squad secured victory outright, finishing two shots ahead of the team from St Leonards School and proudly claiming the Overall National Team Title.

Huge congratulations to all of our golfers on these superb achievements, and heartfelt thanks to the academy staff whose dedication and expertise make successes like this possible.

“This is an extraordinary achievement for our Rossall community and one that fills us with immense pride.

“To be crowned national champions is a testament not only to the exceptional talent of our students, but also to their dedication, resilience, and commitment to excellence.

“They have represented the school with distinction, and their success reflects countless hours of hard work both on and off the course.

“At Rossall, we pride ourselves on offering a world class pathway that blends elite sport with academic ambition, all within a deeply supportive and connected community.

“For aspiring young golfers, this success is a powerful example of what can be achieved at Rossall.” - Andrew McBride, Headmaster at Rossall School.
