That said, there really is no substitute for a visit and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family to Rossall, so that you may experience the incredible warmth of this most remarkable and successful community.
With an impressive history dating back to 1844, Rossall School is a leading, independent, co-educational, boarding and day school, based in Fleetwood, Lancashire in England. The school combines a traditional British education with fresh, modern approaches to learning, which aim to help the growth and development of all our pupils.
Set on a 160-acre campus on Lancashire’s beautiful Fylde coastline, Rossall has a welcoming, calming and nurturing environment that aims to engage and inspire pupils and start them off on the right foot right away. Rossall is also a truly multicultural school, which attracts children from all over the world. This allows national and international pupils of all types to live and learn together and bring out the best in each other.
Our impressive curriculum, highly skilled teachers and the classes and activities they teach, also give pupils all the skills, abilities, passion and encouragement they need to become the best they can be. All this helps them to grow into extraordinary, well-rounded, independent, strong and confident members of society.
Our amazing Alumni have gone on to accomplish incredible things after leaving Rossall, from becoming Emmy-award nominated TV producers, to founders of leading IT solution providers. Our impressive school reports also speak for themselves. The Good Schools Guide, which has been reviewing schools in the UK for 25 years, concluded in our senior school report that we are a “warm, inclusive and remarkably happy place to be."
From the moment they set foot on our campus to start their Rossall journey, to the time they leave to start their careers, pupils are put in the most capable hands – teaching, shaping, upskilling and guiding, all to give them the best possible start in life, and help create the best life for them.
