Summer Week 5 – Message from the Junior Headmaster

Dear Parents,

As the half term draws to a close, I wish all of our pupils and parents a restful and relaxing half term break. There is no doubting that this half term will be looked back on in a variety of different ways. At times it has been stressful, difficult, challenging, and emotional. Yet all of the dark clouds have been unable to stop the light shining through. The Rossall community has come together, demonstrating unity, strength and togetherness. I have been immensely proud to lead the Junior School through this period.

The children have been nothing short of outstanding, in both their attitude and application. They have completed tasks, joined in with visual form periods, and have demonstrated exceptional learning, both within and beyond lessons. To do so with huge smiles on their faces displays just the sort of spirit, resilience and humour that are true characteristics of being a pupil at our School.

I am immensely proud of the children. However, I am also indebted and grateful to all of our parents and staff for the parts that they have played in ensuring an incredible continuation of learning for our pupils during this period. I wish all of you a restful, relaxing and enjoyable half term break, as we prepare for the challenges that lie ahead of us.

Have a lovely half term.

Mr Turner
