Trips and Visits
As part of our mission to expand our pupils’ horizons and deepen their understanding, trips and visits form an important part of their learning journey.
Junior pupils enjoy a wide variety of trips, for example to the Science Fair at the University of Central Lancashire or the Viking Museum in Lancaster, as well as a programme of exciting residential trips in Years 4, 5 and 6.
In the Senior School, pupils also enjoy curriculum enriching day trips, such as Geography fieldwork in the Forest of Bowland, Business Studies trips to the Jaguar car factory or English outings to Wordsworth’s Dove Cottage in the Lake District.
Recent residential trips have included an ICT trip to Bletchley Park, a Sports Tour and an Art residential to Edinburgh. Our students also venture further afield, for example with the forthcoming Choir and Music tour to Texas, US, the German Exchange and an exciting Science Tour to Iceland.
