Leading the way

Excellent UCAS offers have continued to come in for our Upper Sixth over the past week, as students have received offers from such institutions as Durham University, Imperial College, London and the University of Edinburgh.

This continues the superb record of our A level and IBDP students in achieving offers from the most competitive universities, including of course Deputy School Captain Josh Fallows’ offer to read Earth Sciences at Exeter College, Oxford.

Indeed, the hard-work of our ambitious and aspirantUpper Sixth students’ has resulted ina large number ofoffers coming from Russell Group/Top 20 universities. This includes offers from highly respected institutions such as the University of Bristol; Kings College, London; the University of Leeds; the University of Manchester; the University of Nottingham; Queen Mary, University of London; the University of St Andrews and the University of Warwick to name just a few.

This is in addition to those applications that our students are making for competitive scholarships at American universities and other leading institutions around the world. No fewer than three students have been offered scholarships at universities in the USA, and students are also applying to institutions in Australia, Germany and China.
