Kamwamba Shoe Appeal

Elementary Students Standing in a Row

The idea to help the students at the Kamwamba School in Malawi started in 2017 with the School Chaplaincy organising a clothes collection across the whole school community for pre-loved uniform. The aim was to help students feel that they belong in education by having their own school uniform. In this remote rural area in Malawi, education is still not widely routinely provided for children and the aim was to encourage and help more children feel that they are able to access education.

With that in mind, Rossall is aiming to help the community again with another donation of pre-loved uniform. We are not only looking for the uniform, but any pre-loved children’s shoes and socks that our school community may be able to donate.

If you are able to help and donate, please could you ask your son or daughter to bring your donation to Mr Bradley’s office on the first floor of the Farrell Building.

For more information on the project or if you would like to help in a different way, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Bradley: [email protected]
