Fleetwood High 5 Netball League

We were delighted to host the Fleetwood High 5 Netball league on 11th March. All Year 5 & 6 girls competed against the local teams. There was a real buzz around the netball courts as this was the first time many of the children had played competitive netball. The Rossall teams (all Y5 & 6 girls) finished in very respectable; 2nd, 3rd and 7th places overall. Rossall Reds had a nail-biting match against Shakespeare Primary that was to decide 1st and 2nd place. The visitors just managed to pip Rossall Reds to the post with a 5-4 win. Well done to all the children that represented their schools so admirably and ensuring we had a fabulous afternoon of netball!
