On Friday 12th May, the final Farrell Society of the year was held in Mondo’s, with the theme being “Food and Literature.”
Twenty-five members of the society, past and present, plus members of the English Department, gathered together to bid farewell to the Upper Sixth and departing teachers. There were emotional speeches and exchanges of gifts, plus some excellent food provided by Julie Hart. The Farrell Society has a 25-year history in the school, long may it continue and good luck to those carrying the tradition forward in 2017-2018.
Huge thanks go to Kelly Wang, the outgoing president, and to Sam Pitcher, last year’s president, for arranging the evening.
