Rossall Da Vinci Academy

Rossall is delighted to announce the launch of the Rossall Da Vinci Academy created for children in Years 4 and 5. There are two strands to the Da Vinci Academy that will run consecutively:

  • Da Vinci Maths and Science Academy, designed for children who have a passion for Maths and Science
  • Da Vinci Drama and Theatre Academy, designed for children with a passion for the Performance Arts.

Da Vinci Maths and Science Academy 2020

The Rossall Da Vinci Maths and Science Academy seeks to inspire, amaze and challenge. It is designed for children currently in Year 4 and Year 5 who have a passion for Maths and Science. The purpose of the sessions is to expand horizons whilst developing skills of collaboration, problem solving and accuracy through a series of activities led by outstanding teachers. Children will have the opportunity to carry out experiments, learn about astronomy and develop their reasoning skills through interesting and diverse mathematical problems.

Da Vinci Maths and Science Academy sessions will run on Saturday mornings at Rossall School: 10.00am to 12.00pm.

There is no charge for these sessions and children will have a choice of committing to one or more of the Da Vinci strands depending upon demand. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

If your son or daughter is excited by the prospect of meeting children from other schools whilst going above and beyond the confines of the primary curriculum, then make sure you sign up for the taster morning, Saturday 18th January 2020.
