Art Trip to Scotland

Sixth Form A Level Art and Design, Photography and Graphics students visited Scotland last week. They managed to fit in a trip to Glasgow to see the Print Studio & The Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, Dundee to visit the New V & A and finally Edinburgh to visit the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art, The Scottish National Gallery and Edinburgh Castle.

Students picked up a wealth of information to add to their A Level projects, including first-hand viewings of paintings, photographs and Miss Heap’s great grandfather’s sculptures in the castle, for inspiration and ideas.

Students loved Edinburgh where we were fortunate to have lovely weather and the background music of bagpipers. They were a pleasure to accompany and staff from the places visited commented on their exemplary behaviour and manners.

Students are already asking when and where the next art trip will be!
