Spread Eagle’s Annual Pöttinger Dinner

On Friday evening, Spread Eagle hosted the annual Pöttinger Dinner. The dinner is held in commemoration of Florian Pöttinger, a former Rossallian, School Monitor and Spread Eagle House Captain, who died in January 2013.

The Pöttinger Trophy of Excellence was awarded to current House Captain, Konstantin Wartenberg, while the Longbottom Trophy for Sport was awarded to Year 12 student, Will Gair.

It is a tradition to build Lego on the evening, as Florian loved Lego and created his own masterpieces. This year, the boys were tasked with building a vehicle with 4 wheels and seeing how far it could travel, with the winning vehicle travelling over 3 meters. A great night was had by all.
