Exam results and university destinations

Rossall students achieved excellent exam results at GCSE, A Level and in their International Baccalaureate qualifications in 2016.

At GCSE level, Rossall achieved a 100% overall pass rate, with all students awarded grades A* to C in English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Drama and Italian and 92% gaining A* to C in Maths.

In the International Baccalaureate Diploma, Rossall achieved a 100% pass rate, with an average point score of 31, exceeding the worldwide average by 1%.

Rossall’s A Level students secured outstanding results, beating the national average for the number of top grades achieved.  Rossall also secured a 100% pass rate in a number of key subjects including English, Computing, Chemistry and Geography.

Rossall student, Philip Wilkinson was awarded 4 A*s and 1 A and will continue his studies at Cambridge University’s Sidney Sussex College in September 2016.

University destinations for students leaving Rossall in summer 2016 included Cambridge University, The University of York,  The University of Manchester, The University of Bath and University College London (UCL).
